Tim Zenger – Haddam, KS

Tim is a long-term member of WCFB.  Married to Lisa, he is a diversified farmer with wheat, alfalfa, corn & soybeans.  He also has a cow herd in partnership with Scuyler and raise horses.  In addition to his farming operation, Tim works for Rain & Hail Insurance Co. as a crop adjuster.  Tim is a member of the Knights of Columbus and serves as president of the Haddam Fire Dept. In the past he has served on the Washington County Fair Board and the River Valley Extension District. The entire family are members of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Washington County Saddle Club.  Tim currently serves as president of WCFB and represents section 2 for the Washington County Farm Bureau Association.

Lisa Zenger

Lisa is a long term board member for Washington County Farm Bureau.  Married to Tim, they have three children; Jackilyn, age 14, Scuyler age 10, Shailyn age 7 attending Washington County Schools.  Lisa works as a medical transcriptionist for Washington County Hospital.  In addition to serving on the board for WCFB, Lisa serves on the 4H Booster club board, is a 4H club leader and teaches religious education in her parish.  She also helps with Shailyn’s T-ball team.  In the past she has serve d on the Kansas Jr. Miss program board as well as the Chamber of Commerce Education committee.  Outside of work, Lisa is very busy with her children’s activities.  All three are active in 4H; Jacki with horses, Scuyler with beef and Shai is just starting in 4H this year with a bucket calf.  Jacki volunteers at Independence Farms riding therapy, Scuyler and Shai both play summer ball, Jacki plays volleyball, basketball and is in track. Jacki also participates in Kansas EK Horse Shows & Scuyler shows Shorthorn Plus heifers in area shows.  Lisa is also attending Hutchinson Community College via internet classes to attain her HIM degree and credential. Lisa represents section 2 for the Washington County Farm Bureau Association.

 Curtis-Stamm.jpgCurtis Stamm – Washington, KS

Curtis is a veteran board member for WCFB. He and his wife, Marli have both served as board members for WCFB. Curtis is a full time farmer with a cow/ calf operation and diversified crops. He also backgrounds cattle. Marlene works for Kansas Dept of Agriculture as a food, drug and lodging surveyor. Curtis and Marli have two sons Brody, age 10, and Coy, age 6. Marli is involved in 4-H including raising a few show pigs and the boys show goats. The boys are also involved in the Jr. Rodeo and show heifers. Curtis is an assistant basketball coach for 4th grade boys weekend basketball program. Curtis and Marli live east of Washington and represent section 1 for Washington County Farm Bureau.

Steve Wieters – Barnes, KS

Steve is a life-long resident of Washington County, growing up eight miles south of Barnes.  He attended Barnes Elementary.  His eigth grade class was the last to go through.  He graduated from Linn High School in 1972.  He married to Connie Long of Linn in 1975.  Together they raised two children Ryan and Jayna.  Connie works at Clay Center Early Head Start as a family consultant and Steve is employed by United Farmers Coop.  Working for the elevator since 1978, he has been a part of many consolidations and changes.  Steve is also a cattleman, working with his son Ryan.  Together they manager a cow-calf herd on what Steve refers to as Mom’s place.  Steve also serves as the mayor of Barnes.  When time permits he likes to fish and play golf. Steve represents the section 4 for WCFB.

 Brad-Ohlde.jpgBrad Ohlde –Linn, KS

Brad joined the Washington County Farm Bureau board in 2009 and represents section 3. Brad and his wife Callie live west of Linn on his grandfather’s farm.  The farm was recognized as a Farm Bureau Century Farm in 2008. Brad and Callie have three children Morgan, age 14; Kaitlin, age 11; and  Tyler, age 8.  They keep Brad and Callie very busy with volleyball, basketball, softball and baseball.  Brad raises wheat, beans, corn and milo.  He also manages finishers hog buildings with his dad.  Brad also has a cow herd.  When Brad isn't farming he coaches his children’s ball teams.  He and his family are members of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Palmer, where Brad serves as a youth leader.  He is also a member of the Linn- Palmer Fire Dept. 

Kyler Ohlde Linn, KS

Kyler joined the WCFB board in 2009. A life long resident of Linn, Kyler owns and operates a third generation family business, Ohlde Dairy. Ohlde Dairy milks 900 cows three times daily and raised their calves on site. Other farming activities of the business include raising corn, alfalfa and wheat; custom chop hay and silage; and custom hauling manure. Ohlde Dairy has 20 employees. Kyler represents area 4 for WCFB.

Teresa-Penning.jpgTeresa Penning Teresa joined the board in 2009. She is married to Chuck Penning and they live in rural Washington County northwest of Washington.  Chuck is a Post Master in Seneca, KS and Teresa is the Clerk at USD 108, Washington County Schools.  They also have a commercial cow/calf operation and manage her brother’s cow/calf operation.  They have four children who are active in a multitude of activities.  Kayla is a Freshman at K.S.U. majoring in Pre-pharmacy.  Keenan is a Senior at Washington County High School and participates in FFA, Football, Basketball, and Track.  He also has a registered cattle herd and enjoys showing cattle.  He also enjoys deer hunting.  Kylie is a Freshman in High School and plays volleyball, basketball and track.  Kylie has participated in barrel racing and goat tying in the Kansas Junior Rodeo Association.  She is also a member of the FFA and shows cattle and does the horse project at the County Fair.  Konnor is a 6th grader at Washington County Schools.  Konnor participates in goat tying, break away calf roping, and steer roping in the Kansas Junior Rodeo Association.  He enjoys playing football, basketball and baseball also.  Konnor also shows cattle and does livestock judging in 4H.  Konnor enjoys team roping at the local arena. Theresa represents area 1 for WCFB.

County Coordinator

Twilya L’Ecuyer- 

Twilya has worked for Washington County Farm Bureau since 2008.  Her husband Tom farms with his brother North of Morrowville. Their operation consists of a cow-calf herd, row crops, wheat, and alfalfa. They also provide customer fencing services.  Twilya likes to grow and sell fruits and vegetables.  Together they enjoy fishing and riding bikes with their daughters Olivia, age 3 ½ and Autumn 1 ½.
